Use
a square of this rubbery fabric to stabilize your cutting board. You'll
be amazed at how much pressure it takes off the knuckle joint, removing
pain and worry. This is one of those times that parents will notice
that an improvement for the sake of their joints is also just the right
tool for children as they are learning a new skill. My kids reach for
the "green sticky thingy" whenever they need to use the cutting board.
I also use it under my dinner plate on particularly bad days.
