On December 14th, Thrive By Tools hosted a Ghana Art Sale & Culture Night. The event featured visiting artist, Jerry Kayem Alifui of Ghana, and painting by Kayem and his protege, 17-year old Jesse Nii Noi Mensah. The evening featured 16 large acrylic and Ghana fabric paintings, a drumming lesson with Mawuenega Mensah, presentations and a salsa dance lesson by Kayem. Kayem is co-founder of the Global Faawonu Organization, an organization dedicated to reaching out to at risk kids in Ghana and around the world.
